With over a decade of experience in civic service as a dedicated member of the community and 6 years as councilmember in Ward 1, Jeff has made his mark in U City and the surrounding region.
- During his tenure on City Council, has worked to secure nearly $400 million in new investment in University City
- Successfully advocated to end the outsourcing and restore UCity Fire Department ambulance service and restore ambulance mutual aid.
- Increased accessibility and transparency with his successful effort to livestream all city council meetings and publish to Youtube within his first few months in office
- Pressed for increased public safety funding, investment in technology, and making University City the 2nd fire department in St. Louis County to meet the National Fire Protection Association standards.
- Worked tirelessly to advocate for flood victims and pressed for greater accountability from MSD resulting in their decision to undertake a massive cleanout of the River Des Peres channels and tunnels which has already resulted in over 500 tons of debris removed, including huge concrete blockages in the tunnels.
